Have you always loved clothes?

Yes. My family is from the Amalfi Coast, and when I was young, we moved to the U.S. so my mother could work as a seamstress for a major wedding dress designer. My inspiration definitely comes from my mom. She always explained garment construction, the importance of fabrics and how they worked in different ways.

How did you start your business?

In the spring of 2006, an Etcetera Wardrobe Consultant who had always admired how I dressed approached me. Through the years, I've always enjoyed dressing friends and family, so I took the chance and became a Wardrobe Consultant. Etcetera is a great opportunity to intermingle past business knowledge with the latest looks to create a business all your own. My skill for putting together looks has improved each season, as have my sales. I surprise myself at each show by how well I display the line in my home.

How is the company?

I find the environment at Etcetera both inspirational and extremely professional. The corporate office gives us the tools to grow as a consultant and expand our business. Everyone I have worked with has contributed great information, helping me with product knowledge and selling techniques. It's the perfect balance between my personal life and my career, and a great place to grow.

Describe a great Etcetera moment.

Once, a client was unable to find a dress for a fundraiser she was chairing on the 57th floor of a building in New York. She was looking for something unique, so I sent her the Sleek dress and jacket. Not only did my client love it, but she extended a party invitation to me and even sent over a car and driver. The whole night everyone told her how fabulous she looked, and she kept pointing me out, telling everyone I was her Etcetera consultant. It felt great!

What about the clothes?

The different prints, the high-end fabrics and the details in manufacturing put the clothes in a class of their own. No matter what a client's body type, Etcetera fits in a way that makes her look amazing. I've seen first hand how the line helps body-conscious women to feel more confident - especially when they start receiving compliments.

The personal one-on-one service we give to our clients also adds to the exclusivity of Etcetera. Clients feel that special care and attention we give them. I want each client to leave feeling just as excited as I am about the line, knowing that what they have purchased is going to look fabulous on them.
