An A-Line skirt follows the contours of the body from waist to hip line, then steadily increased in width from hipline to hem.
FIT AND FLARE
A Fit and Flare skirt follows the contours of the body from waist to hip line, then either flares from there or drops straight into a lower point, the flares.
FIT AND FULL
A Fit and Full skirt follows the contours of the body from waist to hipline, often by means of stitched down pleats, then released into a full skirt.
A Full skirt is gathered or pleated at the waist and fullness extends from waistline to hem.
A Pegged skirt has a narrower circumference at the hemline than at the hipline.
A Pencil skirt is a narrow skirt that is slimmer through the hip and thighs and tapered at the opening.
A Straight skirt visually has the same circumference at the hemline as it does at the hipline.
A tube skirt is made in knit fabric, and is straight from waist to hem
Ease is incorporated into the fit of the skirt in the hips
Fit is close to the body.
Skirt is away from the body.
Most of our skirts are regular waist, hitting 1” below the natural waist.
Skirts that hit at natural waist.
Skirts that are higher than the natural waistline.
Skirt is 2” below natural waist.
